The students in my ESL Family Literacy class come to class to learn English and learn how to help their children in school. I would love the opportunity to give my students the resources and tools they need to achieve their goals. These books would do just that! The students would be able to use the leveled readers to build fluency, increase vocabulary, and reading comprehension. In addition, they would be able to share the books at home with their children to promote reading literacy. This project serves the adult ESL student as well as their family and the school community.
