The students in my classroom love independent learning centers. By adding these fun, colorful manipulatives to my center activities, students will have even greater opportunities for independent exploration and growth.
I also love to use whiteboards for informal assessments and to give students the opportunity to display what they are learning on something other than paper and pencil. These magnetic, lined dry erase boards will give my students a better tool to practice and improve their handwriting, as well as use the magnetic letters to form words. I love that whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, and provide them with immediate feedback as needed. I think it's great that students can keep these in their desks and quickly pull them out to use for extra practice or for informal or formative assessments.
Last, I have been trying to increase my students' number sense. This large magnetic "number of the day" poster is just what I have been looking for to make this practice part of our morning meeting and increase my students' knowledge of numbers. I would love to make this practice part of my daily routine.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
