Playgrounds are a safe place for children to learn social skills. Students working together, communicating to each other to move the running mat. Groups of students laughing and encouraging each other when completing the obstacle courses. Children challenging each other in a corn hole game building sportsmanship and communication skills.
Students need to rebuild these basic skills after being isolated. Play is a nonthreatening way to begin this process.
Over 300 children will have the opportunity to play with the equipment during several recesses a day. Children will have the opportunity to learn sharing, teamwork, and responsibility.
