Pride Fitness is an afterschool fitness program open to students in grades 6 - 8. Students will participate in group-based workouts aimed at improving strength, balance, and overall fitness.
The program will start this winter! The group will meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from March 8 to April 20.
Pride Fitness is for all students, grades 6-8. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Whether you are an athlete looking to keep in shape, or someone looking to learn more about a healthy lifestyle, this group is for everyone!
Activities Include:
Strength Training
Aerobic Training
Rock Climbing (Indoor Rock Wall)
Flexibility
Plyometrics
The jump ropes, kettlebells, and other equipment provided through this project will allow us flexibility and creativity when designing and implementing our training program.
