Due to Covid, the pandemic lock down and the consequent remote learning, many students have lost their ability to focus in class and are experiencing higher anxiety than ever before. These fidget and calming tools will help reduce anxiety in my students, as well as help students to focus during class time.
Please help me to support my students by giving them access to tools that will improve their ability to focus and learn in class. Many of our students are coming to us this year after being remote for a year or more, and they are relearning how to attend school and focus on their learning. Giving them a tool that they can use to fidget silently with can help students channel their extra energy in a way that will not distract other students.
Student anxiety has been extremely high this year. Many of our students are still facing unknowns and uncertainties at home. While these tools will not fix everything, they can help students to calm down and can give students something to focus on when they are feeling overwhelmed.
