These pop toys will be a prize for my English language learners and their classmates from the regular classroom they belong to. My English language learners will present a project about recycling to their English language speaking peers. During a month, second graders will be recycling : cardboards, paper and plastic in different bins. My English language learners will explain why recycling is important and how recycling works. At the end of the month, the classroom that collects more recycled items will win these pop toys!
This project will provide my English language learners a great opportunity to produce oral language and improve their speaking skills.
