I have the best job in the world. I teach title one. That means that I get to teach reading to students that need a little boost. Because of this I have small groups all day. This allows me to get to know students so much better. I teach in an ELL school. A little more than half of our population is ELL. It is so beautiful to watch children from every walk of life come together to learn. Growing up my family was an ELL family. The only one in town, actually. This gives me a special perspective. Being the baby of the family, it also gives me a better appreciation for what my brothers and sisters experienced. I share my classroom with 5 other adults. Space is always a premium in education. It gets a little tight in here sometimes, but we make it work. Thank you so much for supporting public education. People like you make it possible for me to do my job effectively.
