This year I am using goal setting as a way to motivate students to set attainable goals as they transition back to in-person learning. Much like a college football helmet, our t-shirt badges give them immediate recognition for meeting a growth goal that they themselves have set and met.
The Cricut EasyPress will allow me to quickly set badges on the back of their school pride shirt the very day they reach their goals. My 4th graders are so proud to have each of these meaningful goals recognized!
What I love most about this new project there is student buy-in at every level. Goals range from specific academic benchmarks like math fact fluency to personal accomplishments such as improved attendance or social-emotional progress that promotes personal learning success.
