Being a PE teacher, my main goal is to introduce these students to activities that they enjoy, and will continue to do outside of school, and after they graduate. One activity that I have been wanting to introduce to them is Disc Golf. It is an activity that is rather cheap for them to do on their own, and it is something that they will be able to do into adulthood. By introducing new activities that are easily accessible outside of school, will help my students continue to live a healthy lifestyle by being active. Even though they won't be able to take this equipment home, I hope that it sparks some interest and will help them continue to find new things that they enjoy. Also, by introducing new activities I hope to build their confidence when it comes to playing with their peers, and also by having them try new things.
