Having instruments will help to broaden my students' music education by giving them access to materials they have not previously used before.
Having these six additional ukuleles will ensure that every student has the autonomy and accountability of playing on and caring for their instrument during class time.
They'll be able to explore a new facet of repertoire, gain experience playing as an ensemble, and develop their own individual musicianship. With its small size and number of strings, this instrument is easily appropriate for my students, and will serve to build their confidence as they learn proper playing technique and pieces that are both familiar and unfamiliar.
