We will learn about diversity when we discuss the Arab- Israeli conflict, Apartheid in South Africa, the West African slave trade, and in our Hispanic Heritage and Black History Month projects.
Books and Teacher Pay Teachers supplemental resources will integrate diversity and equality into the lessons.
Students will use the crayons and markers to more accurately portray the people of the world in their projects. Student assessment will be in the form of both projects and explanatory writing pieces aimed at making students think and analyze equality in today's world.
