I am teaching students with different disabilities. This project would help them to maintain social and emotional functioning in the classroom. I would like to make a peace corner in the classroom where students can relax, read a book, stay calm throughout the day and practice self-regulation in any given circumstances. Peace corner could be a great addition in my classroom. Student can take care of what they feel and help themselves go back to learning. This is a great place for student's break when their feelings are uncontainable that stops them from learning.
