Students will be able to explore how colors change and mix in the art room. They will use the light panel as a center in small groups using translucent manipulatives to participate in hands on learning experiences.
Use of the light tables with manipulatives also encourages the development of other skills beyond color recognition and mixing, including fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, connections to other core subjects such as math, science, and literacy.
Light tables for art students also help improve drawing skills, muscle memory, and confidence for older students.
