Having this set of books will allow each of my students for years to come to have their own physical copy of a book that is classic and my students read every year. Having a physical copy for each student will solve the problem that I've had in the past of using digital copies that aren't always functional and sometimes impossible for kids to access at home due to the community I teach in. Having a copy for each kid will allow those who may not be able to make it to school each and every day to avoid falling behind. Also, a lot of my students have never had the responsibility of having a copy of a book to take care of from start to finish. I think this will be a great opportunity for them! Students will use the book Call of the Wild, plus having the book White Fang in the same copy, to analyze characters and write an essay at the end of the book.
