I'm a new librarian this year, and for my Professional Development Plan, I've decided to organize the library, weed out out-dated materials, etc. I'm finding so many books mis-labeled or unlabeled and I need a typewriter to create those labels. I am unable to print them through our library system because of the type of printers we have and because only one label can be printed at a time. The constant heat will reduce the quality of the labels. Yes, I could handwrite them, but I'm looking for neatness, consistency, and clarity.
