I teach students with special needs, who are in need of a sensory gym. A sensory gym would help them take breaks when needed, fine and gross motor, body awareness, increase social skills, and improve muscle strength, balance. The sensory gym would help with exercise, independence, communication, and strengthen self-care and attention span. It would therapeutic and helpful for the students. Students would benefit from their sensory gym every day. A sensory gym would also help my student's day go easier and help decrease frustration and beavhiors by having a place to let out their energy.
