Students with disabilities and those who do not often need to physically move their bodies around the room in order for them to learn best. Some prefer to be on the floor, sitting in a chair, or standing. Although it is not the traditional way that a schoolroom looks, the students thrive on choosing their preference for learning. Simply choosing a space, or a standing desk to do work gives the students the power in their learning. Help me to allow movement in my classroom that promotes student advocacy for their individual needs as well as increases their ability to learn. Thank you!
