Although libraries must first be spaces of literature and technology, the maker-space movement seeks to promote creativity and wonder in another form. Maker space games and tools allow for exploration and inquiry. Maker-space areas provide another avenue to entice even the most reluctant readers to come to the library. Once they are there, they might just find the budding artist, engineer and genius within them. They might even discover the budding reader within them as well. These resources, games and puzzles requested will help make our library more inviting and fun. It will bring them in and inspire them to create and explore.
