Through collaboration and design, my students will act as engineers, and create solutions to problems presented in picture books. These materials will help my students become creative and critical thinkers through STEM activities and challenges.
Students will use Legos and various art materials to create and design projects and challenges that apply science, engineering, and math skills. For example, students design a way to help fairy tale characters solve their problems, like getting Rapunzel out of the tower or building a float to help the Gingerbread Man cross the river.
