With these materials my special students will have the freedom to express their feelings. They will learn how to communicate their feelings through various forms of resources. For example, the timer will help them know when to start and stop their "calm down" breathing exercises. With these specific tools and strategies, they will be able to feel successful. They will feel successful in their work, classroom, with their teachers and peers. They will be able to work well in group activates and independent time. They will have the strategies to self-regulate when they feel academic and peer pressure.
