Visual timers are a great tool for students on the spectrum and with anxiety to be more successful while working in the classroom. These timers help all students feel included and gives a visual support for students to know exactly how much time they have in a task. Being able to visually see how much time they have will help students process what they need to do and in how much time to help them be successful. Imagine how difficult it would be to be given a task to finish and knowing you have a certain amount of time to finish it, but don't know how much time you actually have. That is stressful. These time timers will help eliminate that stress so we can get students to be more successful in their classrooms.
