As a librarian, I want to provide students with books that represent many different cultures, family structures, and backgrounds. I also want students to have books that promote equality, growth mindset, environmental awareness and problem solving skills. I have also added books that students have requested to see in our school library. The following standards align with my goal to give students a variety of choice when choosing books to check out each week.
