Many of the items on my project are designed to help promote my student's life skills, skills that will be most important for them when they are out in the real world. In particular, this project will allow my students to start their own garden, which will help improve motor skills, enhance creativity, increase social skills, self-confidence, and all connection into science. Gardening can also be a job skill my students can learn.
Reinforcements and choices for free time also allow my students to help them stay engaged and help limit behaviors due to the fact they are working for a specific thing.
