These items will help students at two elementary school clinics. Students who are healthy learn better. More students are experiencing anxiety related to the Covid-19 and they often come to the school nurse for assistance. Items such as stress balls and fidget toys will help these student relax and be able to return to class with a calm mind.
Students are also experiencing more frequent bowel and bladder accidents related to anxiety, and having items such as clean underwear for students keeps them in class and learning with their peers.
Due to the pandemic, students are not seeing their pediatricians regularly, parents are relying on the school nurse to identify problems with height/weight/vision and hearing. Schools are without height charts, and this information is vital to determine health habits.
Students are often in the health office due to headaches, fluorescent light filters help to promote calm lighting for students to rest.
During the pandemic, is is imperative that students wash their hands appropriately. Glo Germ lights and solution will help to teach the younger students how to properly wash their hands. The hand washing timer will help them to recognize when 20 seconds of hand washing has taken place.
