Since returning to the building we are trying to engage our students as much as possible. We have had more issues this year with tardies, absences and behavior concerns in the classroom then we did in the past. This new incentive and reward program will create a culture of positivity and success while providing students fun and recognition for work well done. The program will run school wide. Teachers will have raffle tickets to handout in the classrooms for students that are on task, on time, caught being kind, etc. The students will then turn those raffle tickets into the office and begin getting punches on their cards. After five punches, students can pick a reward from the available items. After ten punches students will be eligible for a pizza lunch with staff. This program will be an additional layer to the MTSS (multi tiered systems of support) we already have in place and will be the first layer that is focused on prevention and positive enforcement.
The program will work to change school culture from the classroom teachers, to office staff and administration, everybody will be able to be excited and positive behind a common cause. Thank you for supporting us! ASCA counseling standards support this implementation in their mindset and behaviors (BLS.4 M.6, M2,)
