Students will use the materials I have requested, as I teach them how to work from CAD drawings and to safely use the tools and machines necessary to accurately fabricate parts to build a strong, robust robot. Students will learn the critical interaction between design and actual fabrication using measuring and hand skills to produce precise, repeatable parts for their project. The computer requested will enable students to learn to design using CAD software, and to program a robot for competition, developing invaluable skills for students in many professional pursuits.
