We are learning the very basics of multiplication right now, among other things. However, with the learning disabilities that my students are faced with, they have a more challenging time comprehending the material. They do not learn the traditional way, straight out of the book. They need the subject matter to appeal to them! They need it to be fun sometimes. Who doesn't need a little fun?
By them finding these materials fun and exciting, they will be on board with learning something new and (what can be perceived as) scary.
I know that my students would find these workbooks (We could reuse these year after year by making copies), games and posters exciting and new! A few other items on our wish list include a chair for my math station, masks for when our friends need one to ensure their health & safety and some small fidgets for those "antsy" moments.
Thank you in advance!
