Since returning to the building, I've made an effort to include my students. In the classroom, I want to create an environment that encourages students to learn and create. In my history classes, I prefer to use creative projects to get students excited about history while also allowing them to express themselves. The majority of our class time is dedicated to working on significant projects, getting to know one another, and fostering a culture of collaboration. Now that the computers are required for all students at my school, students will be able to show off their hard work throughout the classroom if we add a color printer to the classroom setup. The color printer will help them seem more polished and professional when their job is finished. As a teacher, I want my classroom to be a place where kids feel comfortable being themselves while also working together to develop a well-lit, colorful classroom that allows them to have fun while doing their work. I like to display art and have a display wall that has a light that focuses on the top projects that have been created.
