As we have returned to the building from the long stint of at home learning, we have found that many student are struggling with anxiety. It is my goal to help these students return the the building with the confidence they need in order to succeed in their academics as well as their social/emotional lives.
Helping Students Return To The Building goes far beyond academics; it will help them with their mental health and wellbeing. These tools will be used to give them a safe space to learn and develop positive coping methods to help them move through their days at school with ease and confidence. As a counseling department, it is very important to us that we are meeting the new needs of our students in this ever-changing educational climate.
The positive coping methods that we help students develop in these important stages of their lives will follow them through to adulthood. It is important that we work with them to create a safe learning environment
