Since the kids missed on fun library activities and experiences the world, I want the kids to have the opportunity to pair a book with a hands-on experience and I can model a fun story time experience with puppets, felt stories, and manipulatives. Through many familiar characters and hands-on activities, they can build more knowledge, sequence stories, and retell. They will increase their language through acquisition, answering questions, and practice using language skills through book conversations. They can engage with peers to understand everyone's unique life experiences and build on their prior knowledge. They can practice social skills like taking turns, sharing, and engaging in conversations.
