Thank you so much for considering my project! Many of the students at my school greatly struggle with anger, stress, and anxiety. With that said, I added a punching mat that I hope to mount in my office so that students can release some anger and frustration when the occasion rises. Furthermore, many of the chairs in the building were removed after COVID-19 to eliminate social gatherings, specifically in small offices, so my students have been sitting on the floor in my office.
I added the bean bag chair to make students feel comfortable and welcome when they come to the counselor's corner!
I also added some basic office supplies I am in desperate need of- pens, post-its, and a new office chair. I added some pictures (and frames) of places that make people and kids happy (Disneyland) to create a calming environment for the students.
