Having these materials will help my students and class greatly. The chromebook charging cart will help students charge their chromebooks with ease all the while keeping the limited ports around the classroom free. In addition the chromebook carts will help keep my cords and computers organized so that we can easily hand them out in the event that we have to go to distance learning. The jumbo post-its are an integral part in creating anchor charts which are used daily to give students visuals, examples, relevancy, and back ground information with the many subjects we cover in class. We post them around the class for students to use in their learning and it helps guide them along daily.
With the drawing tablet I will be able to record synchronous and asynchronous lessons that are fun and engaging for my students. I am at a high free and reduced lunch school and our students struggle with standardized testing. Having colorful and engaging ways of teaching my students will hopefully help with their remembering the material taught in class. Working with math manipulatives and science activities often require the creation of something that involves scissors. Most of my students do not come to school with the school supplies they need and therefore I need to have the supplies on hand for them to use. The flair pens allow me to create bright colorful lessons while teaching from the ELMO. Our equipment is fairly old and the picture is grainy so we need bright markers so the students can read the material being presented. Finally, we often use whiteboards in class to keep the students interested and engaged. Many of the students use their jackets or their shirt sleeves to erase the white boards which is ruining their clothes which makes erasers necessary.
