Our students are spending more time using technology in core content courses, including mathematics. They are spending anywhere from six to seven hours a day using technology. It is essential for teachers to keep students motivated and engaged during the learning process. Our students use their chromebooks to access daily assignments and online assessments. Student assessments now include more drag-and-drop items that require a student to evaluate a given set of options and drag their answer choice(s) to to the appropriate area. This type of assessment item can be problematic for students using a chromebook mouse pad. Chromebooks may not have dedicated left and right (mouse) buttons which increases a student's frustrational level. The use of a wireless mouse will give students the power to click and drag with confidence rather than focusing on cursor issues with the mouse pad.
