The Apple TV will allow myself and the students to write problems on the iPad I have, and to cast that to the projector from anywhere in the room. I will be able to bring up different problems as I'm helping students while moving about the room. The monitor will help me make a student station in my classroom for when students are out for long periods of time they can use it to catch-up before school, after school, and during class. I also hope to provide a more calming environment with the diffuser and use the other materials for hands-on activities.
The materials will help me assess if a student is understanding what is being taught because I will have complete access to move around the classroom and not be limited to my desk.
I want to provide my students with a space they are familiar in regards to electronics and being able to cast will help me do that. It will also allow for others to see how their classmates work out problems rather than the students just learning from me.
