The items that I have selected are to help address social/emotional and behavioral deficits post-COVID and school closures. Items are also meant to promote healing with a tranquil office environment for testing and counseling. Items have also been selected for students with special needs (Autism, ADHD, Emotional Disturbance, etc.). This year has proven to be especially difficult with regard to managing challenging behaviors. More and more students are being referred to the school's on-site mental health professionals to help the students work through their emotions and establish better classroom and school-wide behavior.
