This year has been a whirlwind of changes from the pandemic to kids being out sick and lack of resources to help get students prepared for the next steps in life. I am a black teacher who wants to share some amazing resources with the kids of our future. I want to spread how some extraordinary people from our past have contributed to helping make this world a better place and also helped invent some of the things we use today. I have created this list based on the needs of my students. Handwriting and jotting down their thoughts are a struggle for some of my students. These resources can help build their confidence in improving writing their letters correctly and building their writing skills by fixing sentences daily to be able to identify when they make an error when writing in their daily journals. Also, time and money will be another big life skill my students need in life, being able to model how to tell time and count will help students who are visual learners. I would also like to bring black history into my classroom, so students are aware of their history and how it has shaped our lives today. Our class would be so grateful for someone to take a chance at sponsoring this project for our future leaders of the world.
