We will use the Montessori Sensory Wall and Trampoline (with safety enclosure net/ball pit) to give our students with Autism more sensory outdoor play items.
These items will be used to work on eye to hand coordination, along with fine motor skills that are needed.
These colorful items, along with small moving parts can be used to discover colors, shapes and numbers. As well as working on getting their fingers to move, small objects. These help to build their writing skills for the future.
The trampoline will provide movement that our students need and allow them to build muscles. It will also provide a time for learning to share materials and enjoy themselves with their friends.
