My students are academically gifted and are enthusiastic learners who thoroughly enjoy a good challenge. They love school and look forward to learning new things each day. Participating in Gifted class each week provides them with opportunities to engage in a more challenging curriculum, explore topics of interest, and problem solve with other gifted peers. Unfortunately, our school suffered significant damage from Hurricane Ida and our gifted classroom was destroyed. Years of gifted resources were unsalvageable and had to be thrown out. Basic classroom essentials, math manipulatives, stem kits, and books are just a few of the items that we hope to replace.
