The students at our school can not afford to purchase their own ukuleles. The ones we currently have do not have cases that protect the instruments. With this grant we will be able to purchase new Ukulele cases to protect the instruments so that they will be able to be used for years to come. We currently do not have enough ukulele tuners for the class. By purchasing more tuners, the students will be able to tune their instruments individually and be more successful in class. We will also use the money to purchase a ukulele holder so the teacher can store her ukulele off the ground. These needed funds will help our ukulele program be more successful not only now, but in the future.
