The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a designated location within the classroom. My students and I need the donations of the paper, laminating sheets, markers, behavior chart, incentive bracelets, and magnetic graphing boards. They will be utilized to demonstrate their learning as well as provide them with opportunities to earn incentives throughout the week. My group of students require a lot of guided instruction and when they have "proof" of their learning (laminating sheets), they are apt to take more time to complete the tasks with precision (to the best of their ability) and care. The behavior chart will be utilized and placed where all of the students will be able to keep track of their own behaviors and continue to work/earn incentive prizes. I will be able to create models and examples for the students to use with the construction paper and markers in order for them to successfully complete an assignment to demonstrate their learning. All of the supplies and materials will be used in cross-curricular lessons/activities such as sight words and allowance game to promote basic reading skills as well as the importance of knowing the concept of money (math).
