I word with students from ages 5-10 years old (K-through 5th grade). I work with many students in all grade levels, especially ELA (ELA K1.1, ELA 1.1.1, ELA 2.1.1). The games and items I have picked will help increase the needs of my special education students. It will help improve their language and communication skills. Increase their vocabulary vocabulary and the asking/answering of WH questions. These items help teach team-building skills, turn taking skills, and how to participate in a game actively. For the past year, my students have not interacted with other socially, and these games bring their social skills back to life. All of the items I am requesting will last for several years to many students grow and increase their communication skills.
