The tools that I have put on my wish list will help students understand their foundational math facts: multiplication, the number line, and how to tell time on an analog clock. While I teach fifth grade, you might think my students should already have all of these skills but, because of the time lost during the pandemic, they are all behind where they should be.
They really enjoy sitting on the floor on a rug during reading time. The cushions will make that a bit more comfortable.
I like to put examples on the bulletin board for how a word problem should be broken down. I also use the bulletin board for aspirational and inspirational sayings. I would like to laminate them so that they can be reused.
The pocket files are for students to put papers in to take home. Each student will have their own file. A place to put things that need to go home so they don鈥檛 forget.
Fingers crossed that this list gets funded!
