My special education students are working below grade and need help with some basic concepts to help bridge the gap between them and their peers. They also need times, fidgets, and other incentives to help them be successful and stay motivated in what can be a challenging environment for some of them.
Some of the math and reading centers will help with standards like RL.6.2 to help them determine main idea, another standard like 6.NS.C.5 that will help my students to first understand basic math skills and then be able to add in positive and negative integers!
My students are already fighting to keep up with their peers and COVID further complicated the learning and the emotional state for many of my students. This special project can help to support my unique learners in the most special of ways. Thank you for considering funding my special project for my special kids!
