All of my students are passionate about art and they want to learn more by using diverse and innovative art supplies. I feel that it is an important part of engaging and motivating my students in multiple ways. It helps to promote imagination and allow for natural exploration for all my students. I want my students to be able to explore the different types of mediums and tools such as canvases, paintbrushes, and acrylics instead of using crayons and markers. I want them to experience that they can create art outside the world of crayons and pencils. I want them to learn that they can mix mediums such as paint to create beautiful colors and apply it to a canvas or paper. Also, supplying different books on art culture and tools will help my students and me as well through our process of learning. Having a classroom full of the best art supplies will help my student鈥檚 ability to express themselves whether it鈥檚 drawing, painting, or creating. I believe when my students are exploring the different types of mediums, they are trying out new things and solving problems. As my students begin to mix paints, they learn to understand one thing can make changes in another. Art lets my students make choices and I want to give them the choices to be creative.
