The I Pad couples with the Cricut and the buzzers and will enable me to create engaging games, activities, and visual aides that help me to better support students in developing writing skills (W.5.1-3 and 7-9). These tools will enable me to create reusable activities and visually stimulating anchor charts that teach good writing skills. Throughout the COVID pandemic, while students were distance learning, they missed out on seeing colorful anchor charts hanging in the classroom. They missed out on famous quotes adhered to classroom walls. Being isolated, students missed out on collaborative activities that supported learning through the use of cooperative learning activities that stimulated imagination, which is necessary in learning to write effectively. I want to make learning fun and collaborative again for my students. I want to stimulate imagination so that they can think for themselves and decide on important ideas that are worth writing about. I want to encourage exploration and build confidence. I believe that I will be able to do that better with these tools available to help me create my own reusable resources.
