The number of student hospitalizations, parents reporting students struggling with various mental health conditions, behavior issues on campus, and students reporting suicidal ideation have been increasing. These resources will assist in addressing students' mental health and social/emotional needs. This is aligned with state standard 1.ME.HS.2 (Analyze ways to decrease the risk of self-injurious or suicidal behaviors. Per NRS 389.021). Ideally, students will engage in these activities and work on developing coping skills on-site then the skills will generalize and carry over into the classroom and at home as well as into the community.
