In my classroom we use a token economy system. Students earn money throughout the school day by using manners, working hard, and following directions. Students are able to use the money to buy prizes and gifts from the classroom store. Students have to count the money, make a purchase, and figure out change from their purchase. The class role plays like they are really shopping. This shelf will be used to store rewards and prizes to be used in the classroom store and be decorated to look like a real store.
