Writing essays and creating poetry. Students will be able to have use of crayons, colored pencils and markers. There will be plenty of markers and crayons so students will not have to borrow or share markers or crayons. This goes with COVID related learning because students need to be able to have their own materials and not share and spread colds or COVID. During 1 period of my day, I also teach a math enrichment class. In this class students complete their daily math and then we play math games, card games, or dice games to help with addition, subtraction and multiplication. Students have to think quickly and it helps to reinforce daily math applications students use in the real world.
Students will create poetry and then write their poetry in books and create colorful pieces of artwork to accompany their poetry collection. These supplies will help towards this. Also, the cards, dice and card games will help students with the basic math facts and to be able to think and process numbers quickly.
