These materials will be used to support interventions. Interventions are student-centered and meet the needs of individuals. Interventions include hands-on activities that can be laminated and sent home to families for ongoing support. Our district has purchased some really great academic programs on the computer that support students' language functions which, having a nice set of headphones will support. I believe the key to students' academic success is when home and school work together. The journals allow families to engage in conversation about their child's academics while also communicating with me their concerns and accomplishments.
