Our students' learning goal this year is to connect math and writing, but we want to level it up and have them connect all of the components of STEM (science, technology, engineering AND math) to writing. Two critical areas that both adults and students facing are deficits in both problem-solving and literacy and we are here to address these deficits. For our project, we are asking for STEM materials such as Legos, Brain Flakes, Tangrams, wooden sticks, Velcro, and baseplates as well as places to store them. After we have made our creations, we want to be able to write about them and print our stories using the color printer and cardstock.
